The state of n/a

Archive: Used Bookdealer

I'm getting a book ready to go out. The customer has listed his state as "n/a." An odd place to live.

Thanks to Google I easily discover that he's in Maryland. Maybe he isn't happy there.

Later when Yance got back from the post office I discovered that I'd address a package to the queer state of 'QS.' The USPS clerk said it was Washington. Zip codes are all that matters, you can write weird junk for city and state if the zip code is correct.

Comments:

Feel free to share your feelings about The state of n/a. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.

This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.

My thanks,
Richard
