Honest people
Archive: Used Bookdealer
We have a small bookcase on the porch where we stuff the books we don't think are worth trying to sell. Commonplace worthwhile books that are too heavily marked up and books whose merit ended when the publisher sent the unsold copies to remainder houses.
Sometimes we come in to find a quarter or two left behind by some honest person who wanted one of the books but didn't want to take it without paying. ALA below left us an explanatory note.
Feel free to share your feelings about Honest people. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.
This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard

How nice of them to do so. I would never trust anyone in my neighborhood, and I live in an otherwise decent subdivision. If you weren't halfway across the world, I'd come visit you and check out your shop. I could use a book or 700 (My amazon.com wishlist laugh)!
