Books/Records/Comics
Archive: Used Bookdealer
Books/Records/Comics began as a small space in a shabby building on September 3, 1983. Aside from myself there was my best friend Gordon and the woman that I'd been living with for almost five years. She was shortly to depart with a friend we'd invited to visit.
Our landlord was a jovial and portly lawyer. When the dance music shop next to us folded he let us cut an entryway between the two spaces. Still a pretty small shop but this tripled our space. We got a glimpse of the power of the good-ol'-boy network. Duke Power came by, looked at the wiring Boopsy (the previous tenant) had left and refused to turn on the electricity. We called our landlord and 45 minutes later the lights came on.

Comments:
Feel free to share your feelings about Books/Records/Comics. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.
This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
