Number 50,000 is hermeneutics

Archive: Richard Evans Lee

Today I cataloged the 50,000th book: Essays in Old Testament Hermeneutics. (I like books on hermeneutics* they sell.)

Really, I think we were behind schedule on that but personal life is often unkind enough to obtrude on workdays. If you are self-employed you may be even more vulnerable.

*The branch of theology that devises, evaluates, compares and applies methods of interpreting the Bible. It also devises criteria for determining which methods are appropriate in a given circumstance or for a given passage.

Comments:

Feel free to share your feelings about Number 50,000 is hermeneutics. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.

This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.

My thanks,
Richard
