Usually my rare posting of bookish cheesecake has books in the picture somewhere. A week or so of illness hasn't left me with much to say about the used book trade (thankfully my other weblogs continue on volubly).
Many years ago in Atlanta a similar ploy was tried with shoe shine parlors. Librarians are a classier take, don't you think? There isn't a more innovative, determined trade.
Feel free to share your feelings about 43rd Street librarians. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.
This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.

Too funny! Told my librarian friends to have a look (and a laugh). Who knows? Maybe it was one of them, 30 years ago?
