We shipped a book with blank pages

Then there are those amazingly nice customers.
I received the copy yesterday (4/13/04), and was very disappointed to discover that pages 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 17, as well as a few of the unnumbered pages (such as the first page of the table of contents) are blank. The upper right-hand corner of the front cover is punched, which may have indicated a defective copy.
I will be returning the copy to you for a refund of $3.00. I am aware I must absorb the shipping costs.
If you come by any other copies of this book, or of the [different] edition, I would love to do further business with you.
We, of course, will refund her shipping.

Feel free to share your feelings about We shipped a book with blank pages. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.
This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
