Shipping to UK, Europe Getting Slower?

I think we are getting more “where's my book” emails from overseas, mostly Great Britain.
There was a short stretch when it seemed as if most surface mail shipments to the UK took maybe ten days.
Now it is more than a month, probably often two months.
Is this an effect of Homeland Security and the UK's equivalent?
