Government propaganda

Sexual Health

Wouldn't be surprised to start seeing government propaganda posters like this return.

Say no to prostitutes poster

Cheerless thought:

Sexual intercourse isn't necessary

From the University of Minnesota's painfully hilarious American Social Hygiene Posters collection.

Comments

Sexual Sublimation has been around for a millenia. The Eastern religions have been blamed for most of this silliness, probably to account for the celibate nature of mystics (not taking into account all the boys hanging around the monastery). It's never caught on with the Christians, mostly because there's never been a strong movement toward mysticism. (Priests were supposed to be sublimating, but they only had altar boys to keep them pure.)

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Government propaganda. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
