I can't remember what her singing sounds like, don't pay enough attention to pop culture to be sure what she looks like. That Christina Aguilera has been voted top 'role model' by the girls who read Sugar magazine is sure the offend those people who have been put on this planet to be offended.
Some women consign themselves to a self-imposed dowdiness. Some thrive in that, others suffer. I'll agree that too often women try to live up mass market imagery of female beauty and suffer for that as well.
There are also women who don't have a conventionally lovely exterior but celebrate the sexuality by playing with the externals. Some people call them tramps. They usually have a lot more fun than the pinch-minded folks doing the name calling.
Hell, maybe the woman is a good role model. Never had a role model myself.
The Dirrty singer was named the biggest inspiration by readers of Sugar, Britain's best-selling girls' magazine, who praised her as "strong minded" and "independent."
