American Protestant Christians: don't you wish they all just go away?

Archive: Richard Evans Lee

… I just wish all metaphysical, theological mumbo-jumbo would go away. It never will. To say that people have a will to believe is akin to saying that ice cream is sweeter than sour cream. Given the billions and billions of cosmogonic possibilities it is tedious and annoying to encounter special pleadings from Christians, Muslims, (supposedly anti-theistic) Buddhists and all the rest.

Comments:

Feel free to share your feelings about American Protestant Christians: don't you wish they all just go away?. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.

This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.

My thanks,
Richard
