Breast enlargement quackery

Archive: Miracle Cures, Health Quackery

I've never seen a copy of Breast Enlargement Magazine, a scholarly journal I'm sure. You have to feel sympathy for the women who fall for miracle breast 'enhancement' scams. I don't mock women who have breast augmentation surgery. Some probably do have better lives, many just become magnets for horny men (admittedly, a necessity for women in the erotic entertainment industry). Wonder how much research has been conducted on how their lives change after acquiring bigger boobs?

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Women who turn to herbal supplements with the desire of achieving a bust size that rivals Pamela Anderson's shouldn't get their hopes up, according to the author of a new report.

'Bust-Enhancing' Pills Are Bogus: Researcher

Last year, Breast Enlargement Magazine unscientifically tested six pills on 600 women. Nearly 70 percent of Bloussant users reported significant results after six months, while 10 percent saw none, according to the magazine. However, 11 anonymous purchasers negatively evaluated Bloussant on the online Fitness Infomercial Review, which says it is a forum for unbiased reviews of infomercial products. No one noticed change. Several users mentioned the pills tasted and smelled bad and caused constipation and gas. Others reported being denied a refund.

I have never been one to give into my insecurities, however my meagre B-cup was constantly on my mind everytime I watched music videos/TV/walked down the street…
I stumbled across a breat enhancer pill called “breast success” on the net, and thought, what the hell… I'll give it a go. $500 later (australian exchange rate)… I recieved ,my 6 month supply and a complementary bottle of perfume.
… not a damn inch! I feel stupid for trying, my intelligence has been trampled over like a cheap piece of cheese.
These corrupt companys have no right in playing with people's emotions for money.
What's more, I can't find a website other than this one to voice my concerns and warn all the other poor women, who are all beautiful in their own ways, to stay well clear of this B.S.
LOVE YOURSELF, DON'T GET SUCKED IN LIKE I DID!!!

Hi my name is Jamie,
Last spring I tried Small bust solutions. This was a mixture of a nasty tasting herbal supplement in which I was supposed to put under my tongue with a dropper, as well as a massaging lotion which smelled horrible and stained clothign. I don't know why I bothered to try it! In fact, I couldn't even finish the liquid or the lotion due to it's nasty taste and the lotions terrible smell. Furthermore, I only had negative side effects.

Feel free to share your feelings about Breast enlargement quackery. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.

This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
