Even though I’ve got plenty of them I don’t really have a weblog that this one really fits so I toss it in here. The world’s richest corporations seek to help to provide balance against what Rev. Lou Sheldon, chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition calls “the gay agenda.”

The major advertiser-backed Family Friendly Programming Forum announced Tuesday that it bankrolled three of the new prime-time network shows that made the cut for the 2004-05 TV season, adding to the four it already backs. …

The advertiser group says its growing clout with networks has to do less with money and more with the decency debate. “There’s been an outcry about the crud on TV” …
