Penis Church

Gustav Thiel:

Cape Town: A vision came to the wife of the preacher of the Dutch Reformed Church in Brackenfell West.

In it, she was instructed to inform the congregation that part of their place of worship looked like a penis.

Cobie Swart, wife of Dominee Chris Swart, says the tower leading to the church's entrance resembles a male sexual organ which is making love to the goddess of the sky.

She wrote a letter to the congregation talking about her vision in which the tower, a structure about 8m high, was “unmistakably” the sign of the Freemasons and also resembled the image of the sun god of Babel.

BobBilly I think you meant to comment on another entry, perhaps the one on Fred Phelps?

Comments:

Feel free to share your feelings about Penis Church. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted.

This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.

My thanks,
Richard
