Mel Gibson: extra ecclesiam nulla sallus

Cheap Laughs

Mel Gibson on his wife's eternal fate:

“Put it this way. My wife is a saint. She’s a much better person than I am. Honestly. She’s, like, Episcopalian, Church of England. She prays, she believes in God, she knows Jesus, she believes in that stuff. And it’s just not fair if she doesn’t make it, she’s better than I am. But that is a pronouncement from the chair. I go with it.”

Comments

I've heard that Mel Gibson went through a lot of personal sacrifices to make The Passion a sucess; like paying 25 million dollars of his own money to make the film and getting turned down by companies becuase he wouldn't allow Jesus to be gay and stuff like that. Every time i try to research this information to find out if its true or not i come up with nothing, but to tell you the truth i'm not very good with computers, anyway i'm doing a research paper on him and would like to include the troubles/sacrifices he had making the film, so if you could be of any help please email me. Thanks for your time. Sue Ann G
A wealthy millionaire spent some of his millions and some of other millionaires money and got even richer. Now there's a sacrifice.
