One of many odd things God has said to people gullible enough to listen to Him:

God told a couple in Hartford, Connecticut, that they didn't have to pay their $54,000 mortgage. "It was our desire to be free from this mortgage debt," Norman and Melissa Cameron told the judge overseeing the foreclosure proceedings. "We asked God our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. He heard us and he freed us from this mortgage bondage."
