No baptisms for children of gay parents?

So much for Sweden's reputation. Priests there don't want to baptise the children of gay couples.

The issue has been highlighted recently by a TV4 documentary in which a woman rang up a number of churches in Halland posing as a lesbian mother who wanted to baptize her child. Apparently up to eight congregations rejected her wish to book an appointment.

I want to coment on this, but I can't. It is just despicable. I am lost for words. It does not even vaguely make any sort of sense in the context of Christian theology.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about No baptisms for children of gay parents?. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
