Australian werewolf cult

Cults , • Wishful Thinking

A mom in Brisbane Australia has discovered that her son thinks he can turn into a wolf and is living on raw meat and blood. Folks who think they are vampires are getting to be common but a werewolf cult is a new one to me.

"A young man then kept ringing us, wanting my son to come out and within three weeks he was part of the group," the mother, 50, said.

"This fellow started to stalk us at night. He'd start howling like a werewolf at midnight outside our house, which frightened the other kids.

"My son left and moved into a house with this fellow and another bloke. They would dress up in costumes like wolves and take my son on a leash to South Bank."

Well, it could be real. We have furries, we have weres (spiritual therianthropes). We have both in australia (we = people, not we = me and other people. I don't live in australia). In the past, there have been people trying to tell others that groups of harmless individuals were members of a cult, when really they were just furries or weres. for that matter, the things that have gone on that are mentioned in that article are totally realistic., especially the third item (people stalking... that's a matter for the police, duh.. but leashes and costumes? that's old hat!).
well I believe that people are free to do what they willas long as they don't hurt anyone else or themselves.. I also believe that the stalking is a police matter if it is going on, it needs to be addresses.. and the Leash.. well yeah it happens more than people like to think it does..*grins* briar
if i was a werewolf i'd form a pack and keep making it bigger until the numbers could start a successful purification of humanity only sparing those worthy to become one of us. Or just accept the gift, live on my own and be free in the forest. free...........
put a leash on me though and i'll tear you apart and that email adress i put is fake cheers.
Actually - I'm the supposed leader of this 'cult' Though really I am a character performer (With a Wolf suit) who had invited two friends to come along to a public place to entertain the public. Their par was just to be watchers for me and crowd control should that ever arise). As the two friends were also 'goths' and BF/BF (Yes - they were gay and THAT was the real sticking point with the parents) They had brought leather collars for each other. Juxaposition is a powerful area of humor - and a Dog walking a Man on a leash can bring a good laugh. Of course it can also (by the cynical and misguided) seen as something very wrong. I don't know where the Howling part came about - definately not me. Nor the eating raw flesh and blood (Both extremely unhealthy as that can cause parasites to be passed like tape worms) The fact was that when one of these friends fled his overly religious parents and asked to stay with me - I was instantly seens as a cult member by a tiny Assemblies of God group desperately trying to attract federal funding. They run an 'Anti Culy' service (Funny - as they are a cult also) believe that being gay is wrong and must be cured by counsilling and prayer. David Ward IS a counsiller with the State Health service BUT not in this capacity. The reporter I know nothing about, the paper has a history of sensationalism and innaccuracy. Both these parties (and the parents) know me. I had met with the parents on several occasions to try and rebuild the relationship between them and their son, but I was never contacted or approached for an interview but the paper. Its also interesting that this article appeared more than 3 months after the young man had moved out and moved to a different stats. Sadly the reprocussions of this inaccurate article is still haunting me and my performance work. Many years of bringing laughter and smiles to both children and adults were badly destroyed plus my reputation. And my recourse is limited as I found out about the article more than two weeks after its printing so posting a letter in rebuffal would not longer work. Hopefully you now know some more of the facts. Take Care.. The Wolf Man

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Australian werewolf cult. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
