Americans who moved to Israel can still vote in American elections. American Haredi rabbis are encouraging them to do so and support George Bush.
"A lot of people in our community don't realize that you can vote in the U.S. elections if you are living in Israel," explained Mordechai Adler, who immigrated to Israel 15 years ago from Chicago and lives in a Haredi neighborhood in Petah Tikva. ...
"Poll after poll, and study after study indicate that the more religiously identified people are, the more conservative their vote is," said Kory Bardash, chair of Republicans Abroad in Israel. "Many of these people are first-time voters, many have large families, and I want them to vote, because an overwhelming majority will be for the Republican ticket."
