Paul Spera seems to nicely embody UFO cultism:

Spera, a musician and unemployed bartender, said he has seen UFOs for nearly 20 years. Last year, he and his girlfriend started videotaping the sightings to prove it, and they have culled more than two hours of footage. ...

"When you say contact, I think of a phone call, some direct communication," he said. "I’ve never talked to an alien. I’ve never seen an alien. I’ve never been on a spaceship, none of that. What I’m doing is what anyone can do: just looking in the sky."

Nonetheless:

"Extraterrestrial contact has been made."

Man's UFO beliefs attract plenty of earthly interest

There is no evidence here that this man knows what he is talking about. He claims that he has seen UFOs, which are simply objects flying through the air that the viewer is unable to identify. This does not mean alien spaceships. He also has never seen an alien or confirmed that UFOs are spaceships from other planets. Yet he is still convinced that they have made "contact." This guy needs more evidence to convince me. I believe in the possibility of life from other planets, but I have seen no proof so far, and none is offered in this article.

My feeling, is: I'm not going to wait in anticipation. If it happens that is good; if it doesn't that is okay too.

Feel free to share your feelings about Extraterrestrial contact has been made. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments.
