Human sacrifice in Africa

Superstitious Folly

Before human sacrifice, a notice is usually given, couched thus: "Anybody whose goat, sheep, or fowl is missing, should look for it, but if human being is missing do not look for him or her". At this point people who understand the parable begin to be careful about late-night movements because the blood mongers will be on the prowl, seeking who to use for the awful sacrifice.

Between traditional religion and human sacrifice

Comments

Im working up a paper for my philosophy class on my theory of ritualistic murder. This subject casue alot of people to look twice and think what the hell was he thinking! But really if people took the time to lern and not be so closed minded they would realize, to these people, killing things for there gods is much like the catholic confession or baptists and there baptism, its just a religios ceremony thats been practiced for ages. What if we told all the christians they couldnt get baptised, or attend church services?

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Human sacrifice in Africa. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
