Critical Thinking Lessons

Skeptics & Atheists

When you hear a message that you don't agree with, how do you respond? How do you respond when you hear a message with which you do agree? Are your responses different? If you are like most people, then your reactions will be quite different.

Developing a Critical Thinking Attitude

Comments

Hey alright! Elementary school! Wha's next? ABC'z? I got a good one: our only understanding of the world come from the input provided by a meager 5 (some sukkas claim 6) sense organs. We know for a fact that a wide range of phenomena fall beyond the perceptual abilities of those organs. AND YET, nukka skkkeptics seem to think we've got the shizzle figured out & we are "living in a material world." Are you a material girl? That's like being able to make out the letters "A, R, & L" and thinking you can figure out the plot to Anna Karenina. Now does that sound logical to y'all?

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Critical Thinking Lessons. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
