Christians abuse psychic

I could almost feel sorry for the psychic who was attacked by group of American Christian Fundamentalists (what else have they to do on vacation?).

Then, at the end of the show three of the Christian protesters started shouting, "She's not your god", "There are only demons here" and "She calls up the dead".

"They were screaming at me as I went to sign my CDs, and saying I should accept Christ.

"I told them I was Jewish and that set off a stream of hate speech.

"They shouted, 'You murdered Jesus' and that's when I said, 'Nobody insults me or my nation.'

One was particularly aggressive. "He advanced on me, saying I was the devil incarnate and would burn in hell," Silbert said.

I am sorry this person experienced this. I am a Christian and have always been taught that the Jews are God's chosen people. Never have I heard that "they" were going to burn in hell or that it was all their fault they killed Jesus. It's pure nonsense.

People have a right to believe what they feel is right. I am Roman Catholic and very proud to be one and I believe totally in the Church's doctrine but I know there are some who do not believe in it at all..that's ok, but its also ok if I do not listen to their criticism about my religion too...I can walk away. Contention is of the devil and some "so-called Christians" love to criticize Catholics and bash their beliefs which I truly believe with all my heart that God will hold them accountable for the apparent evil within them which manifests as contention. When a person criticizes another religion, they are NOT being Christian or showing a Christlike manner. They simply want to be right and are letting evil ego get in the way. They do NOT have the spirit of God with them, but the spirit of the evil one. Contrary to what some protestant groups seem to think...Catholics ARE CHRISTIAN!...very much so.

Feel free to share your feelings about Christians abuse psychic. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
