I met a person who invited me to a meeting on wed night 8:00 a discussion on history & philosophy. the meeting was at the medium league building. i was unable to say goodby, i had taken a picture of her at the bargin store, i said that i would send the picture to her, buti do not have the address of the bargin store. if you know this person i speak of, please give her this email address and i will send her the picture over the email. on this same trip i had dinner with four people at the white horse inn, before they returned to penn. they gave me a website address that i could not read. i also took a picture of all four of the people and i would like to give the photo to them. i just loved lily dale i spent 10 days there. it is one of the most peaceful places i have ever been. m.l wright
hello anyone know the address of the Bargain store? thanks
Hello! As you know, Lily Dale is a very small village. It really isn't necessary to have the address of the Bargan Store to send mail. Send it to: The Bargan Shoppe, Lily Dale, NY 14752 and they will get it. Hope this helps.
hello i would like to chat, i live outside of chicago, il usa, go Cubs! i am an artist i am listening to air america radio. i will not be traveling to Lilly Dale this year and it makes me sad. so let's chat! sunwords
I just want to say that I have read many books on psychic phenomenon and hauntings my most recent book is Lily Dale The Town That talks to the dead. I am a Christian also. Which some people might think is a contradiction while I dont think it is. I feel like if people here on earth are having a hard time dealing with the the passing of a loved one isnt it like a gift from God that there is person here that can help them by sharing their gift of connecting them with that loved one who has passed on? What do you think? I would love to visit Lily Dale one day, Maybe in a few years we will make it there. Is there anyone out there who has been? If so whats it like? Thanks J.T. The Pig Lady
I beleive that energy can not be destroyed, it only changes. the brain is elect. energy so the brain can not be destroyed. there is an afterlife. this gives me great comfort. the reason i try not to be mean, i do not want to build bad credit in the afterlife. what we hate in this life and the deeds that we do will haunte our next life. we will become our hate in our next life. kkk, skinheads and all other abuser will become the abused. we must learn the lessons in this life so we do not have to come back to this earthly hell. the golden rule is the answer, we must stop war! war is the so against the final answer.
I am extremely familiar with Lily Dale- Not only am I a naturally gifted psychic medium (I have done stand up in Lily Dale, radio, TV and taught workshop) but also I have an extensive background in business. When skeptics approach me I always ask them what color is a radio wave? What about a microwave? (People always will say that they don’t know. My reaction is exactly. But we know that they exist because we hear music from the radio and we have seen how microwaves cook our food. I should also mention that science. Quantum physics is now supporting the idea or possibility that other dimensions and energies exist. From a healing point of view I have seen how being able to connect people with their departed loved ones has enabled people to move on with their lives. Form a spiritual point of view I believe very strongly in Devine Guidance and life after death.
I would like information about "fine-tuning" psychic abilities. Perhaps I am not using the right terminology. My abilities are very limited- I am able to hear (not understand) voices, screams and sentences. I cannot understand what they are saying. This usually occurs when I am alone, reading. I have only talked in person to one "man/spirit" -he was asking for some type of help, that is all I could understand..what should I do, if anything?
Sunwords and others- I am arriving in Lily Dale next week. It will be my first time, so I am excited and nervous. Like Sunwords, I am a Chi-town girl. I'd love to hear about others' first times at the dale. Or helpful tips for a newcomer. Thanks!
I have been having frequent unexplained "happenings" and would so love to find out about them. I live in South eastern New York State and hope that a visit to Lilly Dale might shed some light on them. Would anyone have a suggestion as to who might be a respected medium? thank you,
Interesting comments. I grew up near Lily Dale, and even had/have some relatives who live there. I never really attended any services (until many years later), but my mother did go there on some rare occasions. The person who commented that radio waves, etc. can't be seen, but they exist, described things perfectly. Also, the comment that energy is never destroyed, but changes form is correct (I am an engineer, and this is true.) Also, I agree that to be negative, or hateful, is not a way to travel through this life. You will pay for it later. My mother died 6 months ago. Recently I was in the Lily Dale area, so I spent a few relaxing days there. Very peaceful. No traffic, no noise. I had a reading while there, and the medium was spot on. I know that she was hearing from, or getting messages from her. There were specific details that she (the medium) told me that NO WAY any others would know except my mother. The main effect/feeling I received was comfort. I know things are OK, and the future looks bright. I have a very logical (engineer) mind, but I know that somehow, someway, life goes on - and death is but only a passage way. When my time comes (hopefully many years from now!), there will be a grand reunion with others I haven't seen in many years. Great huh? Lily Dale is a place worth visiting. I recommend it.
Hi I wanted to say that I visited Lilly Dale Sunday July 25. It was my first visit and I enjoyed the experience very much and would love to return with my family with me next time. The healing service was a special place. Janice
lily dale is full of frauds!!! They are all full of crap.. no one needs to go to lily dale ever.. they are all money stealing idiots.
I was wondering if anyone in Lily Dale could help me find my only son and tell me if he is OK. He died in Iraq on 07 April 2003. I loved him more than life itself. He didn't deserve to die so soon from a senseless war. He died in a dusty, deserted foreign land without his family and loved ones to tell him again that we loved him. Can you help me find him?
We are going to Lily Dale tomorrow, and are really looking forward to our trip. It is by far one of the most peaceful places on earth. I'm sorry for the person who felt the need to bash the town, and the registered mediums who provide such peace and comfort for those seeking a growth opportunity. We've been going to Lily Dale for over 35 years, not as often as we'd like, however. It is well worth the trip.
I have been and experienced events at Lily Dale and elsewhere that only supports the statement: "We have much to learn about the world in which we live." BJW - What happened to you at Lily Dale? Did you seek an answer for a question you already knew the answer? While I can not attest to the abilities of all the mediums at Lily Dale I know 3 of them personally and have no doubt they are ligitimate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I hope yours in an informed one. I'm interested in hearing your story.
In July of this year I went to Lily Dale, for my very first time. It was truly astounding. Lily Dale, and all it's residents are very beautiful. I received a personal message, that only I would know. The healing I received was magnificent. Will I go back? No doubt about it. I'm going back next month to learn and I can't wait to get back to that wonderful, loving place. I believe, that once you've gone once, you'll return over and over again.
I am interested in hearing the story of the one negative person. The comments gave me a feeling of sadness. I think this person is angry and hurt.....would love to hear more from them. Why so negative on a town full of good loving people? What happened to you to make you so angry?
I live in the Buffalo area and have visited Lily Dale more than once. My impression is that it is a town of frauds. This does not imply that I do not believe in psychic phenomena or doubt the ability of some people to communicate with the dead, however, I don't believe that there is anyone like that in Lily Dale. A fool and his money are easily parted.....
i would like to say hello to the people who have answerd this e-mail. we had our first snow in chicago, i miss summer and lilly dale. it is a wonderful place you do not have to pay anyone to feel the energy there. i spent 10 wonderful days there i painted took pictures and talk to the wonderful people. it is a very peacful place in the world we live in today. happy holidays to everyone!
I'm in N. E. Ohio and want to visit Lily Dale. I'm physically challenged and in a wheelchair. I realize the hotels are not accessible, but would I be able to visit most or many of the sites? Thanks
I love going to Lilly Dale, it has been a few years like 10yr, the lady that gave me a reading was right on the money about a lot of things,of course she is probably dead by now.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Lily Dale, New York. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
