Colorstrology

New Age (Old Silliness)

Not what I'd expect from a company like Pantone.

Decades of color research by the Pantone Color Institute(R) confirm what many of us already know: Color influences our emotional and mental states. Yellow is often associated with sunshine and optimism, blue with relaxation and peace, red with passion and excitement, and earth tones with practicality and responsibility. With PANTONE Colorstrology, the traditional research and methodology has been expanded to a metaphysical level. Colorstrology offers information about the emotional and spiritual powers of color for personal exploration and empowerment. Michele Bernhardt distilled core traits for each month and day, such as the sun sign and numerological vibration of the date, and combined the corresponding colors to reveal each day's unique color.

Woah. On a similar note, my local Focus (the British equivalent of Home Depot) is now stocking "feng shui" paint. I was tempted to ask them the difference between feng shui paint and ordinary paint other than the price and try to record the response.
Out of curiosity I checked to see if Home Depot or Amazon carries feng shui paint. I guess the Focus folks are pioneers of a sort.
Next time I go in to Focus, I'll try and take a photo, or make some notes on it.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Colorstrology. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
