Christian Leaders Aren't Scientists

Scientists have not interfered with the teaching of religious principles in parochial schools. Religious freedom is protected by the First Amendment without any protest by the atheists, secularists or the ACLU. Unlike other religion-driven issues such as abortion, stem cell research and gay rights, the theory of evolution does not involve ethical or moral judgments. Religious leaders should stop trying to impose their faith upon science classes and textbooks. The theory of evolution has been -- for over 100 years -- the only accepted scientific theory for explaining the formation of new species.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Christian Leaders Aren't Scientists. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
