Arizona & evolution

Miseducation

The battle against creationism is warming up in Arizona. Turns out it isn't only Christians who have problems with evolutionary theory:

Willie Longreed is a Stanford University-trained scientist who teaches at Tuba City High School and also believes in the traditional Navajo religion, which says that many Gods, called The Holy People, created the world and humans.

Comments

And to think, people are gullible enough to believe in the evolution theory, which has more holes than my cheese. I, for one, don't care what they teach in schools. When people grow up and get smart, they'll make their own decisions like I did.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Arizona & evolution. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
