The Hallelujah Diet

Miracle Cures, Health Quackery

Dietary righteousness here in the Tarheel State:

[Jordan S.] Rubin, a Messianic Jew, says he is a member of both clans. He peddles supplements and lifestyle products to the health food industry through his Garden of Life company. At the same time, he describes himself as a "biblical health coach."

"My ministry is to help change the health of this world one life at a time," he said.

Similar claims by [Rev. George] Malkmus, [Gwen] Shamblin and others rankle those who see spinning the $40 billion diet industry to a Christian audience as just another way of using God as a gimmick.

Comments

Dear Richard, I too didn't know if I believed the claims of the Hallelujah Diet until I tried it. It works!! My husband and I started on it in April and he has been able to get rid of 1 prescription drug that the dermatologist told him he would be on the rest of his life and we are seeing signs of healing in other areas as well, Sincerely, Debbie
My Dad is on this diet called Hallelujah Acres diet. The diet basically teaches that man should live only on fruit and veggies. Nothing else. No milk, only water to drink. And if you stick to their diet, God will let you live a full healthy life. Disease free! No cancer, No Multiple Sclerosis, No Parkinson's disease, No ALS or other illnesses. So thanks to Dad's belief in Hallelujah Acres diet, I get blasted everyday when / if he see me with a cane or I'm feeling the effects of Parkinson's disease. He tells me that I must want Parkinson's disease because if I didn't I would be on the Hallelujah diet. How would you like a Dad like that? This group twists and picks apart the Bible like most groups for they're own benifit.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about The Hallelujah Diet. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
