A gay man reflects on a fundagelical group that preys on gay men and women still confused about their sexual identity. Worse than pests.
My parents and counselor often tried to sign me up for rallies and seminars, but I refused by simply saying "If God wants to change me, he should have did it when I asked him years ago."
Obviously my dad hasn't stopped trying. Exodus is having an upcoming rally in October called "When Homosexuality Hits Home," and he is planning on attending, hopefully with me. I admit a part of me wants to go, not to be changed, but because it's hard for me to believe that groups of people would actually gather for such a ridiculous event-and I want to witness it.
