Gays should not be allowed to pastor because their life style is an abomination to God. That is the main reason why he destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in the book of Genesis. Do you think God is going to approve of something many people have already been sentenced to hell for? I don't think so.

Those that reject the fact that there is a God to answer to, and a hell that is real are those that like their sin too much. Ignorance of God is no excuse and we will be held accountable.

Gays have no business pastoring a church. I have no idea what is gonig on in their minds, but God does not comprmise his word, and the last time I checked the practicing of any sin seperates an individual from God.How this pastor recieves direction from God beats me. Any church pastored by a homosexual is not a church of Jesus Christ!

If sin makes a person unable to pastor a church no one can become a pastor because all men are sinners. Christians who practice the sin of self-righteousness have a big surprise coming.

OK! yes sin seperates us from God, but christians are "washed" by the blood of Christ, our past present and future sins are forgiven.. Some of the statements here seem to be from PERFECT christians, where do you get off? you don't sin? How do you know they are senetenced to hell? god wonderfully says that he know our hearts... he invites the burdened and heavy laden to come to him for he is GENTLE and HUMBLE in SPIRIT. So what if a "gay" person goes to god burdened and heavy laden? I get the feeling, that, well... sin is sin.. there really is no measure... and i know people are going to hate that statement, just cause we all want to see baby killers pay a little more than liars... Now, in Corinthians, GOD is SPECIFICALLY "harsher" on his leaders... he says that a man who leads his sheep astray would rather not of been born. ouch! ... homosexual pastors seem to be pastoring more on account of ego than Gods Word, is he going to skip those letters written to the Corinthians? but its such a good sermon! Post Script: if there is no God and by that i mean Jesus the Christ, then whats up with time? why are we in the year 2003 AD???? Are the scholars and intellects of our world crazy?? Why didn't the Romans just produce Jesus's body? if he had not resurected? Whats up with the worlds history? myths?... Solomons Temple still lies across the Mount of Olives. Haven't you heard that the greatest trick the devil pulled was having us believe he didn't exsist... that slippery sucker!

Scholars now use CE, "common era," instead of AD. Most of the people in the world live under other calendars. Why would the Romans worry about the corpse of an obscure Jew?

Just a couple of points I think people are missing. First, we all DESIRE to sin,even the greatest of saints. It's only when we actively indulge those desires, in thought or deed, that we have actually sinned. Second, it's not a person's sins that condemns them, it's their attitude toward sin. What saved Mary Magdalene? Jesus told her it was her faith.(not her ability to remain sinless from that day forward) That's why we believe that practicing homosexuals(and fornicators, adulterers and any other unrepentant sinner who defends an immoral lifestyle) are in danger of eternal judgement. It's not the immoral acts, or even what you say publicly ... it's what God sees in your heart. Third, God is the only righteous judge. Our responsibilty is to proclaim the Gospel and to help people live righteously by SHOWING THEM God's word, not mocking them with it. In Revelation, an angel referred to Satan as, "the accuser of our brethren...who accused them before our God, day and night". Do we (or Rev. No Tears For Queers) really want to model Satan in the way we treat gays or anybody else for that matter? Let "them who have ears, hear", and, for Pete's sake, let God take care of the rest.

True christians need to come out of the denominations and be ye seperate. sin is sin? well in your bible there is a sin that is not forgivable. denieying GOD exist that will not be forgiven. Also, homosexuality is in direct oposition to GOD's creation. Thats why it is called a abomination, instead of just sin. 1. something horrible: an object of intense disapproval or dislike 2. something shameful: something that is immoral, disgusting, or shameful 3. intense dislike: a feeling of intense dislike or disapproval towards somebody or something 4. That which is abominable; anything hateful, wicked, or shamefully vile; an object or state that excites disgust and hatred; a hateful or shameful vice. Remember folks, read your bible. It will tell you that in the last days Men will be lying with men as with a woman. Now either your believe the bible or your don't. You can't have it both ways. If you don't believe the bible then why even go to a church? The word of GOD also reads for ye to come out and be ye seperate. meaning come out and be seperated from non-believers. In the last days, GOD will give them over to a reprobate mind. rep·ro·bate: 1. A morally unprincipled person. 2. One who is predestined to damnation. 3. To abandon to eternal damnation. Used of God. 4. Abandoned to punishment; hence, morally abandoned and lost; given up to vice; depraved. 5. Of or pertaining to one who is given up to wickedness; as, reprobate conduct. ``Reprobate desire. GOD saves anyone from their sin, but if one continues in their sin, over and over and over and over, that person has not repented nor tried to turn from sin. See whats happening True christians....unrepented sinners are pushing their way into your churches and taking over with their vile, un-repented reprobate ways. The is a difference between a sinner and a un-repented sinner. Good day people..get out of those denominations before you get brushed with un-cleanliness.

The bible is clear on this subject. Homosexuality will not be permitted in the kingdom of God! The Lord said he will "clean house" before the final judgement. He will start in his house first! We are suppose to be the "light" of the world! This is "light"? HARDLY!

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Special Assembly on gay pastors. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
