You're a brave man, Richard, openly declaring yourself to be with in the ranks two of the most despised 'labels' applied today. I take enough crap for being openly atheist. I couldn't imaging being gay on top of it all.

Actually I've been out of the closet since I was 18 and have never suffered directly for my sexuality. But many friends and loved ones have. And the sheer piggish ugliness of the gay marriage debate offends me deeply.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Sodomitical polity. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
