Lord George Carey needs a kick & a slap

A former Archbishop of Canterbury bitches that having a gay bishop threatens reducing the Anglican Communion to the status of a sect. Come off it, few Englishmen go to church. The Episcopal Church, the US member, however benign and kind is almost nugatory in effect. If you want a popular Christian church you need to be bigoted and and inspire fear or hell fire. And if you cater to that nonsense what clear thinking person can do but hope you head speedily into oblivion.

"Since I have left as archbishop I have watched with a great degree of concern and sadness about the developing length to which the church has gone to be as inclusive as it has," Carey said. "I think it's gone beyond the Scripture and the Christian tradition."
