Liberal Anglicans pursuing gay agenda
• Homophobia
The appointment of a gay man to be Dean of Saint Albans has been taken as a slap in the face by the conservative fanatics in he Anglican Communion.
[Primate of the West Indies, Archbishop Drexel Gomez] added that a debate by the Anglican Church in Canada on gay marriages later this month was a further provocation, as was the treatment of conservative parishes by liberal bishops in America.
In a letter reflecting the fury of the conservatives, the Archbishop also criticised the chairman of the Lambeth Commission, set up by the Archbishop of Canterbury to avert schism, for appearing to favour the liberals.
They should just go ahead and schism. The humane members aren't going to support the Anglican fundagelicals and the conservatives aren't going to recant their homophobia any time soon.
