Baptist pastors finance gay cruising

Well, Lord a mercy, surely those retired Baptist pastors already knew that cruise ships are haunts of heterosexual sin and palaces of straight debauchery. Guess it is one thing to be a fornicator or adulterer but something much worse to be gay.

A retirement fund for Southern Baptist pastors is being criticized within the denomination because it holds $14 million worth of stock in Carnival Cruise Lines, which is launching a "Gay Days" voyage. ...

The Baptist board said its guidelines prohibit investments in any company publicly recognized "as being in the liquor, tobacco, gambling, pornography or abortion industries."
