Asian Anglicans break communion over gay Bishop

Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Nepal have broken formal ties with the American Episcopal Church.

The Anglican Church in South East Asia has announced that it is to suspend its ties with its sister church in the United States following its appointment of an openly gay bishop.

The Anglican Primate of South East Asia described same sex unions as an abomination to God and said relations would stay on ice until the appointment is revoked.

Do you people even know why the bible is anti-gay? Because at the time it was written, the population was low, and obviously gay sex or contraceptive use will not increase more little religious people to come into your church and give you money. Organized religions are all about power and money!

I do not want a gay bishop. I believe it is wrong. Having a gay bishop would change the whole soceity of the Catholic would be ruined. However, I do not believe people should discriminate against homosexuals.rtt

Feel free to share your feelings about Asian Anglicans break communion over gay Bishop. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine.
