War on Terrorism Will Have an Affect on Car Colors

Hodgepodge

According to forecasters at the Color Marketing Group, the current global turmoil is creating a desire for lighter, more cheerful colors in consumer products like cars, clothes and carpets.

CMG president Jay de Sibour says people want to surround themselves with colors that help them open up and reconnect with others -- and those shades tend to be brighter than the subdued shades currently used.

So which shades should you expect to see?

CMG's picks include: "Tickle Red," which is a strong pinkish red; a saturated sky blue shade called "Hope Blue;" a calming light blue green color called "Glassy Green;" and "Moondance White," which is described as light warm gray with a hint of yellow green.
