Simple explanations for simple minds

Hodgepodge

Words for some of the intelligent design crowd:

As for the lack of cosmological laws, maybe they remain elusive because of John D. Barrow's First Law: "Any Universe simple enough to be understood," proposes this mathematical physicist, "is too simple to produce a mind able to understand it."

No shortage of simple-minded people.

Finding the Universal Laws That Are There, Waiting

Comments

Not sure if you are suggesting that theists would accept or reject Mr. Barrow's Law. The "intelligent design crowd" would in fact heartily agree with it. The mind of God cannot be fully understood by our peanut-sized brains.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Simple explanations for simple minds. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
