Lada Zvesperova, who said she is not religious but reads the Bible every day, saw the film in February. Though she considered the film fairly accurate, the 24-year-old student at the Prague School of Economics was less impressed with the Czech-made introduction and ending, which feature speaker testimony about finding happiness in Jesus. "The Bible is about human wisdom," Zvesperova said, "not about relying on someone."
Skeptics abound. J.W. Reaves, a pastor at the Hope Baptist Mission in Prague, said he does not expect much of religious movies that tout their accuracy: "They usually are not accurate as far as the Bible goes."
