Federal authorities not amused by attempt at humor

The phone in Spokane rings and the caller ID flashes a name.
No. It can't be.
But there's the name: Osama bin Laden is calling.
Actually, it's a Spokane contractor named Bob who apparently thought it would be cute to register his Cricket cell phone using bin Laden's name.
The people at Cricket processing the paperwork apparently didn't recognize the name of the most wanted man in the world, and the registration went through. No questions.
Since then, bid Laden's name has popped up on caller ID machines.
And, predictably, some people receiving the calls say they fail to see the humor.
