Dieting to look like Jesus

Faith is Profitable

They want to look like Jesus? Where are the beards and long hair?

The selling strategies vary. Stephen Arterburn, the host of a Christian radio show and author of Lose it For Life, says: "If you want the world to notice Jesus, it helps to look and live like Jesus. We don't do this so we can look in the mirror and be more attractive. We do it so people can look at us and see Jesus."

How about trying to look like St. Thomas Aquinas (sp?) - who got so fat they had to make him a special alter with a semi-circle carved out of it to accommodate his gargantuan tum? By the way pt I: really appreciate the blog. Cheers! By the way pt. II: LOVE the goooooogle ads - currently "god loves you" (for www.G*dL*vesTheW*rld.c*m), "spiritual journeys: 12 true stories, including fireman topless dancer, felon, gay couple" (for www.Unl*k*lyW*ysH*me.c*m), "Jesus Institute", and "understanding Islam". Go Gooooogle!
I had to slightly edit your comment lest it bother the Adsense folks. Thanks for the kind words. Richard
I’ve starved myself, not cut my hair nor shaved. Worked for me!

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Dieting to look like Jesus. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
