I went to a weeklong seminar this last summer and I think people like Rael cause he preaches much like what Jesus maight've said only without all the baggage that came later with the church. The people were really nice. And the higher muckity-mucks, what they call bishops and such, seemed to be truly nice, knowleable people. Anyway, people were sweet, and actually quite good looking, and I didn't see any reason not to like them. No one tried to proseletyze me or shove ideas down my throat. The nature was beautiful - it's right above Vermont - and with all the meditation and fairly interesting workshops, I had a pretty good time. That was my experience, at least.
