Roy Moore's trial begins
• Christian Fundamentalism
Don't think this will be the last we hear of Alabama's most famous Christian lawmaker.
[Alabama Chief Justice Roy] Moore is being prosecuted by his former ally, Attorney General Bill Pryor, who defended Moore when he was sued for posting a hard-carved plaque of the Ten Commandments in his courtroom when he was a circuit judge. Pryor has said he can't condone "Moore's sensational flouting of a valid federal injunction."
