Christian businesses

Christian Fundamentalism

Think of it as faith at work - or maybe even the business of faith. Across the country, growing numbers of Christian companies are hanging their shingles on their religious beliefs and finding that customers are eager to embrace them. ...

Flip through the Yellow Pages and there are dozens of listings for small Christian businesses that reach beyond the obligatory bookseller to include plumbers, real estate brokers, dance instructors, pest controllers and computer technicians.

Putting faith in business

Comments

Every once in a while, when driving on 540 I see this contractor's truck with a big ol jesus fish on the logo. I laugh and think that I'll not be giving any money to one so cynical to use religion for profit.
I think it's quite thoughtful of them to put up those fish-shaped warning labels for the rest of us. :)
I think that's a great idea, treating the fishie as a 'warning label'.. There are people with them at work on little items on their desks. I've learned to avoid these people, unless I know them to keep the topic off of 'salvation'

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Christian businesses. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
