Children beaten in lieu of exorcism

The head of Bible Speaks Ministries thought two young boys (11 and 12) needed an exorcism to rid them of demons. An exorcism was forbidden so they got a "holy spanking" with a belt he called his "holy rod:"

NEW HAVEN - The Rev. Walter Oliver told cops he spanked two young boys with a belt "with a smile and with love, to direct them to the correct path," a city police officer told a jury Thursday.
