Vatican vs Madonna, Esther

Catholic , • Cheap Laughs , • Gossip

Vatican chiefs have branded Madonna'a 'Kabbalah' religion as a threat to Christianity.

Pope brands Madonna's Kabbalah a threat to Christianity!

The Catholic-born singer's public involvement with the Los Angeles-based Kabbala Center, accused by some of being a cult-like distortion of Jewish mystical beliefs, has intensified in recent months. It has been reported that Madonna had decided to observe kashrut dietary restrictions, and not to perform on Friday nights (Shabbat eve). Last week, the entertainer announced that she was adopting "Esther" as an additional name in honor of the heroine of the Purim saga.

Vatican raps Madonna over kabbala

The Vatican is holding a special summit with Catholic leaders from around the world with the aim to negotiate a deal with so-called "New Age" religions and fads that pose a "threat" to Christianity.

Madonna's support for Kabbalah concerns Vatican

I don't think Vatican, Popo or anybody else are concerned about the new bullshits of mrs Ciccone. Probably the jews have to be worried about such a new crazy fan of their religion.
i dont think that anyone should be passing judgement on madonna for what she studies- i think that people should believe in what they want to believe in, i mean, what alternative does the catholic faith give? people need something to believe in, and if that is it, then so be it- i have read some very interesting things about kabblah, and as it has been said before, it is essentially a manual for living- i mean, caue and effect, taking responsibility for your own actions, stuff like that- i thik the vatican has nothing better to do with their time than to pick someone elses life apart, and dissect everyone and everything that does not conforn to what they want. What can you get from catholicism? We have priests molesting little boys, drunken priests, and churches that are heaving money left and right in the name of religion and god- i think if god was here he would definitely dissaprove of it.
I'm seriously considering becoming a Muslim... Madonna has a right to do whatever she wants.
I think everyone has a right to believe what they want, as long as it doesn't harm others. It's extremism that is dangerous.
Okay so Madonna/Esther has her own religion and people are mad at her. Big deal like the religious groups haven't had enough beef with the ''material girl'' as it is since she first appeared in the 80's. This is just more proof that certain mainstream religions like to voice their narrowmindness(over and over again) to something that contradicts their faith even if other people find happiness with it. Rock on Esther! Thanx, Michael
i feel for all of those lost souls who have nothing better to do then knock somebody else down. this to me portrays self unfulfillment- so those people should spend their time and effort- on improving themselves. Madonna has found her own reality of what life is, she feels content and fullfied with the knowledge she is lucky to have found & learns because it makes sense. she has become spiritual & wise. for those of you who do not really understand what im saying probably live a physical life and thats ok, however i fully recommend you to look up what it is you dont understand (What is the anatomy of the soul?)- knowledge is power. Thanks, Taly
I defintly think that Madonna Louise Ciccone/Esther has reached a level of maturity that offers her a large choice of living her life, knowing that she searched alot before taking part of the Kabbalism -such as catholicism and buddhism in some way-. And even though Vatican does not approve with the principals of Kabbalism, they should know it is not an anti-christ sect. Further more, Madonna is not the only star that have chosen this track among fame faces -Naomi Campbell, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake...-. Don't ever let someone control your life! Thanks...
I think Madonna/Esther is a brave person who has lived with passion and strong questions about the sense of living and being. This courageous step reflects her maturity and spiritual growing, that i hope her audience will learn from...
If some research is done into the kabbalah you can find that its branched into many different beliefs. The only one that actually differs is Christianity, but not of the catholic sort. Old catholic leaders actually endulged in some kabbalah stuff which is common spelt cabbalah for the catholic version. It is said to be Christian kabbalah, but nothing about the kabbalah is actually Christian. They believe that when Moses was given the 10 commandments, God also gave the oral law.. the teachings from this stuff you will find in Freemasonry / Mormons / Buddhist (terms) / new aged judaism for the soul / and tons in pagan/wiccan... and a few other beliefs that i would rather not get much into... anyways if people want to find more about the kabbalah and its validity you can check out Jews for Jesus and search kabbalah... it will show a comparison between where they believe the hidden understanding is, and what the text clearly says kabbalah's literal meaning is to accept/ to receive ... it is also termed as teh "Oral Law" or "tradition" ... all groups with history with the kabbalah seem to have all share an obsession to rebuild the temple of solomon which you might take interest in a Bible verse 2thessalonians2:4 its in chapter 2 for sure, i think its verse 4... anyways if you want more information about this you can feel free to send an email to doyouknowGod@hotmail.com i do apologetic research (study of faiths, to have an answer for) and don't mind sharing what i study if others are also interested.... I hardly sign on the msn part of the email account, but if you send me an email i will add you on my common account Shalom
