Pope John Paul II's magic numbers

Catholic

How about a book entitled 101 Uses for a Dead Pope?

Grief or no grief, many Italian lottery addicts are looking to the late Pope John Paul for Across the Roman Catholic country, punters are rushing to lotto sellers and gambling on numbers linked to the Polish Pontiff in the belief those digits are now lucky, a betting news agency said.

Italian gamblers turn to Pope

Comments

I find that in the gambling industry, at least the online gambling industry that I work for, has taken almost no notice of the late Pontiff's death. Most of the people who are online gamblers tend to keep the religious and the adventurous (gambling) sides of their lives separate. This viewpoint is, of course, biased, as I only deal with online gamblers when they are trying to get money to play with, not when they are actually spending that money.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Pope John Paul II's magic numbers. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
