Mass for pets

Father Wolfgang Kestermann has started holding masses for pets in Germany. I guess some folks are afraid their cats and dogs might be going to Hell.

The first service at the Christ Resurrection church in Cologne attracted more than 150 people and their dogs, cats, rabbits and lizards.

A preist can bless a pet. I've had a preist blesx my cat. With animals, there is no heaven or hell. The blessing can make them live a long/healthy life. Just don't get so "hell" paranoid!
