Bishop Ross Davies is not a "sexist pig". He's speaking out on moral issues.

There is nothing sexist about Bishop Ross Davies' comment. All he was doing was stating an obvious position of catholic conscience. The vast majority of Christians in the world believe that women have a unique and significant vocation, but that the Lord did not include in that vocation the spiritual fatherhood of his people via the apostolic succession. Just like priests CANNOT be mothers or purport to have their vocation in the body of Christ. Sorry to say, but an open dialogue of inclusive views would have to reject such offensive lables as 'sexist pig'. I would suggest that the bishop's wife (trained as a professional music teacher) and daughters (top of their class at school) would also reject your view of him being 'sexist'! Nigel.
