I'm the guy in the article about Christians donating kidneys in Australia. Hopefully discerning readers will be able to read between the lines and get a little closer to the truth of what is really happening. A few Christians were approached by people in desperate need of a kidney transplant in Australia, where it is illegal for anyone except a close friend or relative to donate a kidney. In order to assist these (two) people, two of these people (members of the Jesus Christians community) gave the impression in interviews that they had known the recipients for longer than they actually did. They underwent the same stringent health and psychological testing that all other donors go through, and they were passed by the hospitals to donate. The operations were performed... successfully... and then I announced that two of our members had been forced to give misleading information in order to circumvent the archaic legislation here in Australia. Embarrassed by our actions, the health authorities in Australia went into hysterics, arguing that WE were the very people that their regulations were trying to stop. Definitely insane, inurbane, and witless!
