Gibson Sr. is holocaust denier

"(Jewish people) are after one world religion and one world government," Hutton Gibson, who is Roman Catholic, told Steve Feuerstein of "Speak Your Piece!" on WSNR (620 AM), the New York Daily News reported Thursday. "That's why they've attacked the Catholic Church so strongly, to ultimately take control over it by their doctrine."

Hutton Gibson also said the Holocaust did not happen.

It is incredible to me that anybody can deny the HOLOCAUST. It happened, of that there is no doubt! This horrific and very real piece of history is not only well documented generally but was well documented with extensive Nazi records. Hitler spoke in great detail about his feelings on this subject in Mein Kampf and openly elsewhere in his career. We are not talking about obscure, ancient legends here. We are talking about accessible available information, and history that happened less than a hundred years ago. Frankly, I have very low tolerance for anybody who questions the history of Nazi Germany and the HOLOCAUST. There has to be something profoundly wrong with such people. I quite liked Mel Gibson at one time. But like the young German boy I met one time in England, who seemed nice enough at first, and who told me the HOLOCAUST was fabricated by Jews and was pure and simple propaganda? My response was, nice to have met you, good talking with you, but don’t start that CRAP with me. I am not going to talk with a fool, and I departed. The HOLOCAUST is NOT an opinion or an idea to be tossed around lightly. This is history and it is FACT! The Germans have had a long history of belief in eliminationist anti-semitism. The germans created industrial scale mass murder specifically of Jews and this intention was clear from the start. There is a mountain of material to support this terrible event in history, one that should never, ever be forgotten, and certainly not made fun of by the likes of Hutton Gibson who truly ought to be ashamed of himself. Sadly, I don’t feel much better about Mel now. I cannot watch another Gibson movie as long as I sense equivocation on his part on this really serious matter. Plus, it worries me that a man with this much money clout and media power is able to get away with this and treat it as if it was some after school debate that you can argue for and against?? Although, I can understand him feeling unconditional love for his Father, I personally, would have to argue vigorously with a Father that denied such an important event ever happening in the twentieth Century and possibly one of the most important in Human History!! Shame on you, Mr Gibson!!!
