An embarrassment to atheists: Jesus is Hitler

I'm afraid Jesus is Hitler is an example of incompetent blasphemy. Given the horrifying results of anti-Semitism during the prior centuries I'm not sure if the idea would work in more able hands. Noted only as a curiosity.

Yup... some Christians are so silly that they think every human in the world should follow Jesus. Read the hate mail... goes to show how religion is nothing more than a set of beliefs and definitely NOT the truth. Only science is the truth. If you don't believe that.... please shut yourself from the world and rot.

Hate mail is hardly convincing. God might be hateful and wish his followers to be equally so. As an atheist with an anti-theist weblog - I'm not just against Jesus, I'm against all theist nonsense - all I said was that it is incompetent blasphemy. What atheist hasn't been through that phase when they are 13?

Hey you only think its funny because most christians will not chop off your head...I happen to find this offensive, but i guess its ok to make thoughs kinds of jokes at christian peoples expence...hey what about alas an asshole? is that pc? or faggots are lame. Is that funny? Athiest are ignorant? blacks are dumb? jews are jerks? yeah...I bet no one likes to read this...so why on earth is it ok if you are offending christians , which by the way make up 33% of the world, happen to usually be republicans(who are usually the more educated)this is a true statistic.

Yeah, pretty crude, and unfair considering that he was mostly a victim not a victimizer, but I guess if you're taking it ironicly I could see the appeal, I dunno I didn't read much of it. Now if you want some competent Christian blasphemy you'll need to head over to the Brick Testament, here's the link in case no one has ever posted it here before http://www.thereverend.com/brick_testament. The cute little lego people are what make it work.

Hi. Im 18. Im sad that the site was taken down. I found it extremely hilarious and wanted to share the humour with my friends. This is what the internet is about, a way to express freedom of speech very easily to countless people. People who get mad at what they see her confuse me...just dont read it. "bitching" wont do anything...I assume the people who made the site were going for humor and entertainment (most from reactions) and they acheived it. And others will too (Maddox i.e)

I found the site rather disappointing. It's clear they didn't bother doing any research - you'd think they could actually look for a few REAL parallels between Jesus and Hitler, rather than just making stuff up. And there plenty of things they could have drawn upon - eg the way that Hitler followed the guidelines for war outlined in Deuteronomy quite well, Jesus damning everyone who doesn't follow him to eternal torture while Hitler damns those who don't follow him to be tortured to death in concentration camps etc etc.

ok im not saying this is stupid becasue im a good lil churchie no im not i dispise the religion (sheepism) but it isnt funny il lquote it " have you ever seen jesus and htler in the smae place?" uh no hitler was born about 1900 years after jesus, " they both like pineaples on thier pizzas" comon. i know this is supposed to be a joke but it just isnt funny a retarted nine year old with epalepsy could write better.

Feel free to share your feelings about An embarrassment to atheists: Jesus is Hitler. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
